MROME – Noetic Collision on the Roof of Hell

Country: Poland

Year: 2016

Style: Black Metal / Death Metal

Label: Self-released

Rating: 8,5 / 10

This band is coming from Poland and is formed by two musicians: Key V on vocals and guitars and P on drums.

Even from the first listening, I realize that I will have a tough time to put this band music into the right genre. The truth is that this music doesn’t belong to a certain genre. Mainly this album reminds me of old Samael without keyboards. Why? Because of mid-tempo songs and the cold and dark feeling, that is present in every corner of this album. As I said before you can hear some dark music packed with black metal, some death metal, even some industrial metal, and gothic metal.

This is an album full of dark feelings and will take you in a word with black sky and burning atmosphere. Your breath and lungs are on fire. And you know why? Because you are “on the Roof of Hell”.

If I tell you that this album has a Danzig cover for “How The Gods Kill” song, do you become more interested? I know you do! And let me tell you that: is a very good cover, you have to listen to.

I like this material. I like the twisted atmosphere and the dark as hell feeling that this album give me. I would have liked more this album if he had more tempo changes, more speed and if he had a second guitar or a keyboard.

In any case, this is a very good and strong release.
